  Spies takes maiden pole at Indy 2010-08-29
Following news on factory team contract and boosted by advantage of home Soil, Ben Spies secured pole position in Indianapolis, showing once again great potential of American rider. This was first time (but far from last, if you ask me) that Jorge Lorenzo was beaten for pole position by his team-mate for next year. Lorenzo settled in second position on the grid, while Nicky Hayden provide more joy to U.S. spectators.
  Casey Stoner leads initial practice at Indy 2010-08-28
Casey Stoner was the first man to top time-sheets at Indianapolis speedway this weekend, as he edged Jorge Lorenzo for 0.225 seconds in first MotoGP free practice. Nicky Hayden was third fastest on his home soil, despite crashing in last quarter of the session. Dani Pedrosa and Valentino Rossi completed top 5 fastest riders in Indy first free MotoGP practice.
  Fiat Yamaha riders eager to get to Indianapolis 2010-08-24

Less than 24 hours after a strong performance in the Czech Republic MotoGP race, the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team was back hard at work for a one-day test session at the Brno circuit. Perfect conditions in the morning allowed Texan Spies to complete 36 of his 42 laps on board a 2011 prototype model of Yamaha's factory YZR-M1 machine.
